Ear Candling

Ear Candling

HISTORY

Ear candling is a traditional therapy used by the Ancient Greeks and was popularised by the Hopi Indians in America. The modern incarnation of the candling is primarily based on the form used by the Hopi (shortened version meaning “The Peaceful People”) Indians who possess great medicinal knowledge and spirituality and renowned for their extensive healing skills.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Fully dressed my clients undertake a short specific point face and auricular therapy massage before lying on their side, head supported on a pillow so the auditory canal is vertical. The lit candle which has had the drawing (chimney effect) triggered is then inserted into the ear ensuring it is tightly sealed with no smoke escaping. A light suction action is created when it has been inserted correctly. As the candle burns down a crackling sound and possibly some gentle popping may be heard. After both ears have been done, the client rests quietly for a few minutes to ensure they are not light headed following the session.

SANDY has been

PRECAUTIONS

We advise against the use of Ear Candles if you have a perforated eardrum or if ventilating tubes (grommets) are present or if there is an acute ear infection.

EXCELLENT QUALITY

02I use only the Original BIOSUN Hopi Ear Candles which are still made today in Germany using the traditional recipe and the finest regularly tested ingredients. Without compromise, only premium quality, pesticide-free untreated cotton is used together with pure beeswax, honey extract, traditional herbs and pure essential oils. In addition the security marking and an inserted new patented filter guarantees reliable application. Many ear candles on the market today are not of this quality.
